This project involved creating a opening credits sequence of the iconic horror film
"The Shining." Completed within a one-week timeframe for a 3rd-year motion design module, it aimed to capture the film's atmosphere and suspense through visual storytelling. My opening credit sequence has channeled the unsettling atmosphere of "The Shining" through a meticulously crafted film aesthetic. The animation incorporates a subtle layer of grain, evoking the textural quality of celluloid film. Colour grading techniques have created a high-contrast palette, perfectly mirroring the film's suspenseful mood. Camera movements mimic cinematic techniques, employing slow zooms and pans to draw attention to specific elements and build tension. By incorporating these film elements, I have captured the essence of "The Shining" in my opening title sequence.
